The Stingers fought hard on day two of game play. With a gruelling schedule of 6 games in under 24 hours, a great effort was put in by all.  An injury to Ben Stanley joining us from Melbourne Surge during the New York game on Friday put a dampener on the event, however Ben was cleared for play on the Saturday and rejoined the competition.

Atlanta won the waterpolo gold medal narrowly beating London Orca A in the final match.

The gameplay was extremely competitive, however the Stingers performed well even though coming in last in the competitive division. Final scores for each game played are below.

Friday matches

  • Toronto Triggerfish A 5-2 loss
  • New York 10-2 loss
  • London Orca B 4-4 draw

Saturday matches

  • London Orca A 13-2 loss
  • Washington Wetskins 13-7 loss
  • London Orca B 5-4 loss

The stingers are now looking forward to IGLA 2016 which will be held in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in August.
